How We Make Money

Some links on mochibear.org are affiliate links. When you click these links and make a purchase on the retailer's website, we may receive a small commission. This never costs you anything extra — you pay the exact same price as you would if you navigated to the retailer directly.

Our Promise: Rankings Are Never Influenced

Our deal rankings are completely independent of affiliate status. The algorithm that scores and ranks deals does not know — and cannot know — whether a deal has an affiliate link. A deal that earns us a commission and a deal that earns us nothing are ranked identically, given the same discount quality, trust score, and rating.

What This Means in Practice

  • •Many deals earn us nothing. If we find a great deal from a retailer we don't have an affiliate relationship with, we list it anyway. Good deals are good deals.
  • •No “sponsored” placements. There is no way for a retailer to pay for higher placement on mochibear. Deal position is determined solely by our quality algorithm.
  • •No visual distinction. Affiliate and non-affiliate deals look identical on our site. We don't highlight or deprioritize deals based on whether we earn from them.
  • •Commission rate doesn't matter. Whether a deal pays us 1% or 10% commission has zero impact on its ranking. The ranking algorithm doesn't have access to commission data.
